The Preston Project

The Preston Project-Fall 2005/Spring 2006

"My experience with Carolinian Construction was everything I could hope for. Each and every day Dan, Cullen and the team brought energy and enthusiasm to the worksite along with a "glass is half full" approach. In a project the magnitude of ours it's inevitable that glitches will pop up from time to time. Whenever that was the case the guys managed it with creativity and a commitment to finding cost-conscious solutions.
I would highly recommend Carolinian Construction to anyone seeking to engage the services of a team that is professional, reliable, highly competent and great fun to partner with".

One of many projects for the Price's

"In today's crazy world it's not often that one has an opportunity to "sing" the praises of a company. But, I'm pleased to say that Carolinian Construction has earned that right in my world. We purchased our "haven" about 6 years ago in Southcott. We knew immediately we wanted to do some major re-working of our little place in the Bend. After a great first meeting with Dan & Cullen, they went to work transforming our "home-away-from-home". They have done a number of other projects for us since that first summer/winter of work. We couldn't be more pleased with the workmanship, the outstanding level of service and the downright thoughtfulness they display when working in our home. Their attention to detail is unmatched...their honesty and integrity unrivaled. We often remarked that the house was cleaner when they left a job than before they ever got started. It's been six wonderful years working with Carolinian and we look forward to many more as our needs and wants change. Carolinian is truly a great company led by two great "world-class" craftsmen."

Otton Project 2002

"The original project involved a complete renovation of the kitchen and two bathrooms with custom cabinetry; demolition of an old screened porch and construction of a two storey addition providing a sun porch off the kitchen and a spa in the lower level housing a sauna, hottub and shower; installation of a complete HVAC system; and modernization of electrical and plumbing to code. Several subtrades were involved.
Carolinian had not undertaken such an extensive project and we had never been involved with major construction — so we followed the adage, ‘If you’ve never ridden a horse, ride a horse that’s never been ridden’. Actually, we were very impressed by the character of Cullen and Dan and their trade partners along with many excellent references. We were also able to see several smaller projects they had completed which encompassed many of the features we required. They pledged to stay with the job 100% through completion and to be fully responsible to manage the subtrades.
We developed a detailed workplan together, which we monitored on a weekly basis. This 3½ month project was completed exactly on time and budget.
Subsequently, we have had Carolinian back on two separate occasions to drag the rest of our home out of the 60’s and 70’s. We are proud to recommend them to our friends.
"

Ioanidis Project 2008

"If quality workmanship, accurate quotes, and attention to detail are important to you, Carolinian Construction will not disappoint.  We engaged Carolinian Construction to give our newly purchased Southcott Pines cottage a needed makeover to be a more functional and fun family retreat from our home in the city.  Despite being located about two and half hours away, Dan Sageman was always available for consultation during the planning phases.  Even during the construction phase Dan was reachable by phone or email updating us on the progress of our cottage renovation.  Dan and the team at Carolinian constructed a spacious cedar deck with a master bedroom walkout, renovated the kitchen, and installed new floors throughout.  Dealing with Dan was an enjoyable experience but it is his attention to detail and the fact that a job is not declared finished until the homeowner is absolutely satisfied that sets him and Carolinian Construction apart from the rest. "

Sincerely, Gregory and Voula Ioanidis
